The Health & Safety at Work Act (The Act) sets out the general duties which employers have toward employees and members of the public. Regulations enabled by The Act address the many specific activities and issues found within the workplace. SKM Enviros provide a consultancy service covering all aspects of health and safety, serviced by consultants whose qualifications are supported by years of experience. Health and Safety Policy:

Bespoke to the client's organisation and will detail the organisation and arrangements required by the client to support the policy.

Competent Support Service:

We deliver cost-effective solutions that ensure your business complies with health and safety legislation through competent support. The service is aimed at helping you create a productive and positive working environment for employees and to improve your company's reputation.

Competent Person Telephone Support Service:

This service is a telephone helpline service to answer any client health and safety queries.

Risk Assessments:

Site specific risk assessments of property and workplaces can be provided as can assessments for specific job risk, display screen / workstation, home workers, pregnant workers, working at height, hazardous substances and virtually any other work activity situation.

Organisational Audit:

In depth audit of an organisations health and safety management systems and procedures. This involves interviews with key personnel to ensure that policy and stated procedures are being put into practice on the ground.

Contractor Audit:

On site audits of client's contractors' activities can be provided. The audit will be followed by a written report detailing any shortcomings in the contractors' undertakings regarding health and safety.

Managing Agent Audit:

Where property management is contracted to Managing Agents, an audit can be provided to assess the standard of the Managing Agent's health and safety arrangements with regard management of the client's property.
